Printing: PMS Colors

The price below includes the printing of line copy and/or logos on up to 30 percent of the folder surface or artwork that doesn't exceed 12 square inches. No solid or screen printed blocks. Please be sure that your artwork is at least 3/8" from all edges. Choose any PMS color. See the chart below for additional ink color charge. Add one PMS color charge for each color used on the second side. Coated stocks are recommended when using metallic inks. Please supply camera ready keylined art or composite negatives sized to fit. Please call for an estimate when combining printing with embossing.

Foil Stamping and Embossing

Artwork provided should be camera ready, keylined art that is solid. For best results, use type that is 8 pt. or larger and avoid screens or copy with small, intricate detail. Price includes a one-color foil or emboss imprint in one area up to 12 square inches in one location on the front cover that is at least 1/8" from any edge or fold . Please indicate where copy should be positioned. Please call for an estimate when combining foil stamping with embossing or printing.

Foil Stamping and Embossing

The foil stamp or emboss base price shown in the table above includes a one-color foil or emboss area of up to 12 square inches in any location that is at least 1/8" from any edge or fold. For best results, please avoid screens, type smaller than 8 pt. and copy with small, intricate detail. Please call for an estimate when combining foil stamping with embossing or printing.

When combining an overall or large solid background with a screened area of the same color, a separate negative or electronic file of just the solid color is necessary for best results. When necessary, a protective overall gloss varnish will be applied FREE of charge. Please call for an estimate when combining printing with embossing or foil stamping. Heavy coverage cost is the same as additional ink color charge.

The four-color base price shown in the table includes four process colors. Please supply us with a complete set of color-seperated composite negatives that are right reading (emulsion side down), sized to fit and a color proof. If bleeds are necessary, extend the image area 1/8". A 150-line screen on white stock produces the best results. When combining an overall or large solid background with a process screened area of the same color, a separate negative of just the solid color is necessary for best results. A FREE protective gloss varnish is applied on coated stocks. Please call for an estimate when combining printing with embossing or foil stamping.
